Under the direction of the RLS Supervisor or Manager, provide support to Residential Lending. Create, update and review policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory and investor guidelines. Assist with Audit preparation, as needed. Collaborate with Management, the Training Team and the Quality Assurance team to ensure procedures are accurate, understandable and being adhered to by colleagues as indicated. Responsible for creating and updating Residential Lending workflow procedures utilizing the VISIO Software (Task Mapping). Send communications as required to ensure updates/changes are communicated to staff.

Operates in full compliance with internal policies and procedures as well as applicable regulations and laws, including but not limited to Bank Secrecy Act/Anti-Money Laundering requirements. Responsible to report any procedure or process that doesn't meet regulatory requirements including fraud, whether suspected or confirmed, to management. This reporting can be done directly to any member of management, including Human Resources or Corporate Security, or can be reported through Associated's anonymous Ethics Hotline.

Perform workflow task mapping on Visio software.
Create policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory and investor guidelines.
Update/revise policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory and investor guidelines. Ensure that all policies and procedures capture a complete view of all activities and processes within and across business areas company-wide.
Create policies and procedures consistent with and resulting from regulatory, compliance, and legal changes. Work with internal management members risk control contacts and subject-matter experts to ensure such updates are made and approved within compliant timeframes.
Ensure that the method, consistency, style, and terminology meet defined corporate standards and requirements.
Manage multiple writing assignments to meet target publication dates and internal deadlines.
Send communications/updates relating to procedural changes in a standard format.
Perform a variety of communication tasks to include formatting, editing and distribution of memos, department updates, training materials and reports. Post updated content to intranet.
Assist with audit preparation and special projects and requests from all Residential Lending business lines upon requests.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
