Holz Motors is looking to expand its growing service department by adding a Full Time Lube Technician. Candidate must be available to work Evenings and Saturdays.
Lube Technicians are expected to complete the following duties:
-Making sure moving parts are lubricated if needed.
-Injecting grease into units, such as springs, universal joints and steering knuckles, using hand-or compressed air-powered grease gun.
-Inspecting fluid level of steering gears, power steering reservoirs, transmissions differentials, rear axle housings and shackles.
-Checking air pressure of tires, adding water to the radiator, testing the battery, replacing oil and air filters, and spraying springs with lubricant.
-Draining oil and refilling crankcase with right amount of new lubricant.
-Working alongside a skilled technician to learn how to perform quality vehicle service maintenance repairs.
Qualified Candidates must have:
-Some level of instructor led automotive training (e.g. high school automotive, vocational, college, technical school, OEM, etc.)
- Experience changing oil, filters, and performing basic vehicle inspections
-A high level of motivation and demonstrated ability to learn and succeed
-Valid in-state drivers license with good driving record
-Submit to and successfully complete background check and pre-employment drug test.
