Responsibilities:
Greet and welcome patients and their families with a friendly and professional demeanor.
Schedule and confirm appointments, coordinating with dental staff to ensure optimal patient flow.
Answer phone calls, address inquiries, and provide accurate information to patients and parents regarding appointments, services, and general dental inquiries.
Maintain patient records, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality.
Assist with patient check-in and check-out, verifying insurance information, and collecting payments.
Coordinate with insurance providers to process claims and verify coverage.
Collaborate with the dental team to ensure efficient and smooth clinic operations.
Maintain a clean and organized reception area, stocking necessary supplies.
Provide excellent customer service, demonstrating empathy and patience when interacting with children and their parents.
Contribute to a positive and supportive team environment.
Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent.
Previous experience as a receptionist or in a customer service role is preferred.
Experience in a dental or healthcare setting is highly desirable.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
Proficient computer skills, including knowledge of dental practice management software.
Attention to detail and ability to handle sensitive and confidential information.
Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish is a plus.
